FEBRUARY CREATIVE CREW PROJECTS

Yay, it's February! That means the new Creative Crew gallery is open on Splitcoaststampers.com! Thought you like to see my projects. There are 4 themes for you to play along with this month. "Catalog Focus" is to make a project using beads, baubles, trinkets, chains and charms, "Colour Focus" is to use Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, "Seasonal Focus" is the make a project to use at a dinner party, or dinner party related, "Scrapbook Inspiration" is a sketch which you should be able to find on the Creative Crew thread.

My first project incorporates the dinner party AND trinket theme. I made wine charms using the trinket crowns form the Occasions Mini Catalogue! Love how this turned out :)

and a close up of the charm :

Also included in my Dinner Party theme is this recipe book. I used my Zutter binder to hold it all together.

Here's my menu for the dinner party. I've invited my dear friend Patty {she's the one who makes the Creative Crew happen ... she works really hard behind the scenes} who deserves a treat, don't you think?! Here's her place name and menu which also incorporate February's colours!

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, IT'S A NEW KIND OF CARD-FOLD. I think I'll call this one the Box Arm Card. Not very original, but it works by two 'arms' folding outwards to create this:

Here's another angle to see if it's making sense yet!

... and if you still haven't 'got it', here it is from the side. See? Clever isn't it?

I made one more box arm card using a trinket key. Here are a couple of pics of that one. It's portrait this time, vs. landscape.

Want the tutorial? I'll be providing a link on SCS this time, I was inundated last month with requests for the bendy fold, so I've put the tutorial on my side bar ... right at the top!

Please let me know what you think, I always love to hear from you :)

Now go and play with this month's challenges. Use these KEYWORDS when you upload so we can all find your creations:

CCREW0211CF (catalog focus)
CCREW0211DF (design/colour focus)
CCREW0211HF (holiday/seasonal focus)
CCREW0211SF (scrapbook inspiration focus)

Can't wait to see what everyone makes. Happy Stamping!
