Splitcoast Featured Stamper FS147

What a wonderful way to start a Sunday, with the SCS Featured Stamper challenge! Today we are to CASE one of CarollAnn's creations (Mrs Boz on SCS).

Here's what I came up with. I recently purchased a couple of non-SU sets and this is one of them. I love how it turned out! Sometimes, even an SU demo needs something totally different to play with!

Recipe
Stamps : Non-SU & Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock : WW, Real Red
Ink : Mellow Moss, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Real Red, Close to Cocoa, Basic Grey
Accessories : SU Word Window and Modern Label Punches

Retired Set

While mum was staying, a few friends popped over to say hi to her. My friend Moe stamped out a couple of images from one of my 'For Sale' retired sets called 'Fruits of the Season' .... well, of course, once she started colouring the images with Copics, I realised that I shouldn't be selling it at all ... it's gorgeous! Here are a few pics of what I made with it.

I used scraps of cardstock for the layering and put an embossed sheet behind the wreath called 'Petals a Plenty'. Let me know if you're interested in buying this retired set, there's still time before christmas!

Gift Card Holders

Apologies for the lack of posting to my blog ... my mum has been visiting from England so I've hardly been on the computer over the last month!

Mum leaves today {insert sad face} so right at the last minute, as usual, I made up some gift card holders for her to take home to post from England ... which will be a lot cheaper!

Here they are. Very simple to make. The outside card is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and the insert is 12"x 4" scored at 4", 6" and 8". You make the flap in the centre by folding along the score lines and then you use SU punches to make a nice groove to put the gift card in.

And don't forget the envelope! I love the post mark in the Winter Post stamp set which I paired with the postage stamp from the Hostess Set, Christmas Punch.

Recipe
Stamps : Winter Post, Christmas Punch
Cardstock : Real Red, Sahara Sand, Night of Navy, Christmas Cocoa DSP, Merry Moments DSP
Ink : Real Red, Night of Navy, Sahara Sand
Accessories : SU Punches, SU Ribbon
