Christmas Shabby Chic

I was hoping to stamp all weekend, but those plans went awry after I had another outbreak of swollen lips, red purply spotches half way through Club on Friday. What a pain in the bum! I am back to the doc next week because I'm not sure I've been diagnosed correctly. However, that's a story not relevant to this blog. So, long story short, after my wonderful buddies helped clean up for me after Club (thanks so much Dawn Marie, Laura and Susie), I put myself into bed and in between sleep I managed to read our new 'Stampin Success' magazine which is a free monthly publication just for SU demos. Well, right on the front cover was a wonderful array of cards, but the one that stood out for me was using the Tasteful Trim XL Die along with SU's Deck the Halls fabric. Here's my take on it. I love how it turned out.

And here are a few close ups of the fabric and button.

Recipe
Stamps : Sentiment from Snow Swirled
Cardstock : Crumb Cake
Ink : Always Artichoke
Accessories : Big Shot, Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die, Crochet Ribbon, Deck the Halls Fabric, Deck the Halls Big Designer Buttons, 1/2 Pearls, 1/2 Rhinestones, Large Oval Punch, Always Artichoke Seam Binding Ribbon, dimensionals, sticky strip, mini glue dots.
