A Free For All Challenge

Friday's challenge on Splitcoast is a 'Free for All' ... so today the FFA is to make a project using the colours purple and pink and to include a heart! Easy peasy with this year's In Colours and the new Valentine Defined Stamp set!!!

This was a very easy and quick card to make, the only time consuming part was colouring the hearts on the tree :)

WT Challenge ~ Twine

Today's 'Ways to Use It' challenge on splitcoast is 'twine' ... use it on a project in any way you can. I decided to pull out the new 'Sew Suite' set and thought the twine may look good bound around the spool. Hey, it does!!!! So here's an easy peasy card ... had to computer generate the sentiment, but it works!

I'm on a ROLL ....

OK, don't faint! Four Splitcoast daily challenges in a row! I feel my halo glinting in the sunshine, well, no sunshine in MI right now, and actually no halo because, well, I'm naughty! BUT I FEEL virtuous!!!!

Today's challenge is a sketch which you can find on the home page of www.splitcoaststampers.com. It's a good one! I wanted to use "Nature Walk" which is one of the new sets in the Occasions Mini. LOVE this set!

I decided to shabby it up a bit ... so after I'd so carefully stamped the bird, I scrunched up the cardstock and smothered it with sponged Crumb Cake ink. Goes against the grain to do that, but it looks really, well .... shabby! Which was the aim, so that's a good thing :)

Splitcoast Colour Challenge

I'm really impressing myself this week ... THREE splitcoast challenges in a row :) Today's colour challenge was to use Poppy Parade, White and Gray (or silver). Easy peasy! This card uses Shimmery White cardstock and the new Build a Blossom Punch and stamp set which you can purchase as of TODAY!

I love how the stickles frosting looks like you should just lick it straight off the card!!! Hee hee.

It's been ages since I've participated in the Sunday "Featured Stamper" challenge over on Splitcoaststampers.com. As it's the last day of the holidays for us in Michigan, I decided to have a little play time :) The FS Challenge details can be found here. This card also qualifies for the Creative Crew Challenge 'catalog focus' so I've killed 2 birds with 1 stone :)

Clean & Simple for 2011

A quick and easy New Year's Day project! I wanted a CAS style card using the new Baby Blossoms set from the Occasions Mini catalogue. I love this set and think it looks great when you layer up the flowers with dimensions. This side view will help you see what I mean.
