Thanks for a Lovely Evening

I was invited out last night to a party at a friend's house. She hosted 20 of us and it was great fun. That was a lot of work for her so I wanted to make her something to say "thank you".

Bestie's Birthday

It was my bestie's birthday this past week and she's away in her cottage by the sea. We've been through a lot together and I wanted to maker her something really special for her day. Love how this turned out, I used the new SU watercolour pencils and loved them!

First Birthday

I was commissioned to make a little boy's first birthday card by a girl at work. I decided to keep it true to my CAS style and went with blue balloons. I really like the way this one turned out, the square seemed to showcase the bunch of balloons the best.

Pop Up Hot Air Balloon

I've been wanting to try some sort of "pop-up" card and when I bought the new hot air balloon set in the Occasions Catalogue, I knew I'd found the right set to work on it with.

The pop-up mechanism is actually very simple, and of course the possibilities are endless! My card is CAS (as always!) with just the use of Real Red and Shimmery White. I love the red/white combo, so fresh and clean looking.
