My BSF, Pony, aka Michele asked to see a photo of a card I made recently as a display sample. It uses Cute by the Inch (Level 2 Hostess Set) and the matching punch. Here it is Pony!
And a close-up of the punched piece. I popped the flowers up on dimensions and covered them with Crystal Effects. And that's one of the new FABULOUS 1/2 pearls. Love those!

Notably Ornate ~ Distressed
I made the card from Sahara Sand in the Neutrals Collection, stamped the card with the new background stamp, Teahouse, then I distressed the background using the new distressing kit (which is SO easy to use). I cut out the main section, then popped it up and added the bird. A touch of Early Espresso Ribbon and hey presto!
Here's a close-up of the main panel.

I love this coffee/tea set and decided to have a go with the matching wheel (Take a Sip). I love this wheel, it's so fun to play with :) The border at the top and bottom is made with the Dotted Ribbon Scallop Punch which is also new in the SU catalogue. It's going to be one of my 'go to' punches, I can tell! And don't you love the red? That's the new 'Poppy Parade' in-colour. It's so fresh and pretty, I love it!
Here's a close up of the cups and mugs. I took the yellow one and popped it up on dimensionals. The mugs are just coloured with SU markers ... easy peasy! Oh, and that is the new background stamp "Pretty Pattern" ... I guess they called it that because it's, well, pretty ... and a pattern! LOL.

Studio Sketches & an Owl
I managed to find time to play again this afternoon! Yippee! I did clean the kitchen AND mow the lawn before I indulged myself though!!!
The first card was made for a recent swap using Studio Sketches and Crumb Cake ink. I love the arty feel of this set, and although it's very subtle, you can just make out a splash of Pear Pizzaz on the pears.

New Stamp Sets
Just wanted to share some cards I've made with my new catalogue goodies. I intend to do a lot of work next week using all new product. I can't believe how busy it's been this summer!
This first card uses the new set 'Baby Bundle' followed by a close up of the pram.
I'll be back with more samples shortly ...

This next card is for my Uncle Richard. I used the new BG stamp 'Wonderfully Worn' and 'Have a Seat' ... I absolutely love these chairs. I don't know why, they just make me happy :) I used a touch of ink and aquapainter on the chairs for definition, the close up shows that.
I'll be back with more samples shortly ...
