I swore I'd never make another bear ...
but when my dear friend Robin asked if I'd make one for her little girl, Avery's, 3rd birthday ~ well, I couldn't say no! Here she is ... Avery's Bear.

.... hope little Avery loves her ~ give her a squeeze from me, Robin :)

Oh my! Avery will lover her! I know I do! FABulous Emma!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fabulous!! Love the way you alternated the fabric, the flower and the rosebud nose! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteI would love to know how to make a bear like this, is there a pattern that you use? :)
ReplyDeleteMeghan... in a previous post, she mentioned it was based off of a Simplicity pattern 8148... http://ladynthestamp.blogspot.com/2011/03/shelli-bear.html
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura ~ I was so excited to get my new SU goodies yesterday I totally forgot to answer that question :)
ReplyDeleteI made stuffed animals years ago--they are a lot of work. I joked that one could tailor a jacket in the length of time it took to make a stuffed animal.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job, it is a cute little critter. Miss Avery will love her!
You have a great blog--I just found you.
OMG!!! This is awesome, adorable, stinkin' cute and I could go on and on!! I am sure Avery loved her too!! I will be featuring this cute little bear on My Crafty Picks #21 with a link back to your blog on 6-19-11. If you wish to decline please email me at trbauer@insightbb.com
