Studio Sketches & an Owl

I managed to find time to play again this afternoon! Yippee! I did clean the kitchen AND mow the lawn before I indulged myself though!!!

The first card was made for a recent swap using Studio Sketches and Crumb Cake ink. I love the arty feel of this set, and although it's very subtle, you can just make out a splash of Pear Pizzaz on the pears.

And I couldn't wait any longer to try out the new owl punch. I LOVE how these little birds turned out ... don't you love the belly bling? Tee Hee. I needed to make a card for Auntie Sue and Uncle Richard who had Sarah to stay for a few days at their cottage in Yorkshire. My, that place is heaven. Sarah loves it up there. Any excuse to make a card ... this one is for them.

Here's a close up of the owls popped up on dimensionals. The owls' bodies are punched out of the new Patterns Paper in 'neutrals' and the belly is from the new Woodland Walk DSP. Look at how sparkly the new SU rhinestones are ... seriously, you can buy cheap bling ... and then you can buy the real thing ~ this is it baby!!!!
