Club Projects

I haven't been stamping or blogging for a few months, long and personal story which I can't share on the internet, but I did want to just share some Club projects today. My Club has kept me stamping recently ~ this first picture are the projects for April.

Here are the 2 projects we made in May using new catalogue products.

This weekend we made 2 more projects. This first card is a special fold I found on LeAnn Greff's blog. It's quite effective and the best thing is, it only uses the 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock, I don't like having to use 12" x 12" for a card! Directions can be found here.

I used the new Gingham Garden suite of products. LOVE THEM!!!

I then made a very easy and simple card with the new Flower Shop set and the Pansy Punch. Very easy and so effective (love that stretchy ruffled ribbon). My friend Debra sent me this YouTube link on how to make lining up these flowers fool-proof! If you have this set & punch, you won't want to miss this video!

Stamp sets include : Wildflower Garden, Modern Mosaics, Flower Shop, Kind and Cozy
Colours include the new 2013 In-Colours

SU Photopolymer Set

Had fun today playing with Stampin' Up's new 'photopolymer' stamp set called Typeset. Photopolymer is more commonly referred to as clear, or acrylic so the stamps themselves aren't the traditional red rubber, but clear instead. Stampin' Up have decided to introduce this set into their range of products and I am hoping for many more sets to follow, because the quality of the photopolymer is VERY high, and they stamp beautifully. I took lots of photos so you can see for yourselves.

Recipe
Stamps : Designer Typeset, A Round Array
Ink : Midnight Muse
Cardstock : Twitterpated DSP, Going Grey, Pink Pirouette, Shimmery White
Accessories : Big Shot, Edgelit, Baker's Twine, Midnight Muse Ribbon, 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch

Sophie's 21st

I am so happy I "had" to stamp this week for my niece Sophie's 21st. We've been going through some trying times as a family and with the stress and anxiety, my ability to create ANYTHING flew out of the window. Luckily, with the help of Penny Smiley's lovely card, I was able to pull together a CASE I think is not too shabby :)

I will let the photos do the 'talking', all details of the recipe are at the bottom. Let's hope I can find my groove and start being more creative, it really is a cure-all.

RECIPE
Stamps : Everything Eleanor
Ink : Primrose Petals, Wild Wasabi, Pretty in Pink
Cardstock : Shimmery White, Wild Wasabi
Accessories : Big Shot, Bigz Alphabet Typeset, 1/2 Pearls, Hexagon Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

January Club Projects

Sale-a-Bration is underway and my 2013 Club starts this weekend! Our projects include the 'Chalkboard Technique', a 3x3 notecard set with vellum box and a pom-pom flower made with the new crepe paper. All fun to make, can't wait to get together with my Ladies again!

Projects include the Spring Mini set "Oh Hello", "Hearts a Flutter" and the SAB sets, "Madison Avenue" and "Vintage Verses".

Over the weekend, I will make a quick photo tutorial on how to make the flowers and the vellum box. Until then, Happy Stamping!

By The Tide & Rain or Shine

I made two cards for an organised Leadership Swap. Lyssa Zwolanek does a brilliant job of gathering 100+ Stampin' Up demonstrators and keeping us in line for this HUGE swap! Thank you, Lyssa!

Here are the 2 swap cards I made. This first one is a new set called 'By the Tide'. I love this set and got some great sample ideas from the display boards, and from this swap. It makes a wonderful masculine card.

Recipe
Stamps : By the Tide, Netting (Background Stamp)
Ink : Midnight Muse, Crumb Cake
Cardstock : Very Vanilla, Midnight Muse
Accessories : Midnight Muse Ribbon, Linen Thread, 1/2 Pearls

And here's my other swap card using 'Rain or Shine'. I love the fresh, crisp look of this. I used some core'dinations pool party cardstsock for the clouds behind the brolly. A little bit of sanding gave GREAT added texture.

Recipe
Stamps : Rain or Shine
Ink : Primrose Petals, Pool Party
Cardstock : Shimmery White, Primrose Petals, Pool Party core'dinations
Accessories : Primrose Petals Ribbon, Labels Collection Framelits, Oval Framelits, XL Oval Punch, Vine Street EF, Big Shot
